International Business Research (IBR) India
IBR offers tailored market research in India
International Business Research (IBR) India is a research project linked to the faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen. IBR offers Dutch companies the opportunity to conduct tailored contractual market research at cost price. Several types of market research are possible, for example: sector analysis, consumer analysis, competitor analysis, distribution analysis, feasibility analysis or an identification of possible production locations in India.
These researches can be carried out both for companies who are orienting on the possibilities in India as well as organisations who are already established in India.
IBR consists of 20 carefully selected senior students with different academic backgrounds and the Executive Board consisting of 5 senior students. Before the actual field research in India takes place, an intensive preparation phase will start in November 2008. This preparation phase is aimed at providing the students with additional research skills and country-specific knowledge. The research phase starts in February 2009. The research proposal for the company will be determined and the students will conduct part-time preliminary research in the Netherlands for 3 months. Subsequently, the students will conduct full-time field research during 5 weeks in May and June 2009 in several cities in India. The final reporting phase will take place in the beginning of September 2009. The research will be completed and the research findings will be presented to the organisation.
To guarantee the quality of our project, the project is intensively accompanied by two professors of the faculty of Economics and Business and the project is additionally supported by our Advisory Board and the Foundation of International Business Research.
If you are interested in IBR India or if you would like additional information, please visit our website:www.ibr-groningen.nl. You can also contact us by email or phone at any time.
