Mr. de Boer set this positive tone at the NICCT’s New Year’s reception on Thursday January 28th in the Hague. The event was organised in cooperation with the Municipality of The Hague and featured other prominent speakers.

He emphasized on various plans and the increasing activities of NICCT. The highlight of the evening was the special video message from Delhi, India. H.E. Mr. A. Stoelinga (Ambassador of The Netherlands to India). He was joined by Mr. Karsten Klein (Vice Mayor Urban Economy, Care and Ports & City Councilor Scheveningen, Municipality The Hague) and Mr. R. Ramlal (Advisor Trade Relations India), who addressed the audience wishing all a successful 2016.

A keynote on the recent developments of NICCT in India was given by Mr. Rajiv Mehra (Vice President NICCT India & Networking). Thanks to the hard work from a team led by Mr. Mehra the opening event of NICCT India will be at the Taj Santacruz in Mumbai on the 12th of February. The objective of NICCT India is to become active across India, providing similar services to its members both in India and in the Netherlands.

The formal part of the New Year’s Reception was followed by a lively networking reception.
