Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA), registered under the Societies Act. IPAMA represents 538 members, including machine manufacturers and traders, who are pivotal in the manufacturing of various printing, packaging, and allied machinery both for domestic use and international export. As a leading entity in the private sector, IPAMA plays a crucial role in representing 80% of India's Graphic Arts Industry.

 Despite concerted efforts from IPAMA and affiliated agencies, the import-export gap of printing, packaging, and allied machinery remains a pressing concern, as reflected in the following figures:

IPAMA hosts the biennial PRINTPACK INDIA exhibition, recognized as India’s largest and one of the world’s premier events in the Printing and Packaging Industry. This platform serves as a significant avenue for Indian and international companies to showcase their latest machinery and allied products.

 In efforts to promote international engagement, IPAMA regularly invites overseas buyers to attend these exhibitions and facilitates visits to our members' manufacturing facilities. Such initiatives not only bolster international market penetration for Indian manufacturers but also highlight the competitive quality of Indian machines that meet global standards. Despite our members' successful export history, particularly in web machines to countries like China and the United States over the past two decades, there has been a noticeable decline in demand year-on-year.
