The Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference-cum-Exhibition is an annual event organised by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India. It is a well- established international forum to deliberate on important issues and challenges related to
urban Transport.
The Conference and exhibition was initiated by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India in 2008 to provide a platform for churning out thoughts/ ideas, promoting best practices across India and in different parts of the world and carving out the way forward for improving urban mobility in the country. The 16th Urban Mobility India Conference cum Exhibition 2023 was organised by the Ministry in New Delhi form 27th to 29th October, 2023. The theme of the conference was “ Integrated and Resilient Urban Transport”. About 1200 delegates participated in that from India and Abroad.
This Year the Ministry is organising the 17th Urban Mobility India Conference cum Exhibition 2024 for 25th -27th October, 2024 at the Mahatama mandir Convention Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The Theme of the conference is “Standardisation and Optimisation of Urban Transport Solutions”.
