8th India Water Week 2024 – 17-21 September 2024 – New Delhi

17 - 21Sep2024

Even with 70% of the earth’s surface covered with water, for many people, accessing this precious resource is still a daily struggle. The demand for clean and accessible water resources will only escalate, exacerbated by population growth, urbanisation, climate change impacts, and resource depletion. Addressing these challenges and ensuring equitable distribution of this valuable resource requires a collective approach that transcends individual capabilities or sectors. Such cooperation enables the development and implementation of inclusive strategies that consider diverse perspectives, local contexts, and sustainability measures.

In addition, these partnerships promote innovation, ensure efficient resource allocation, and build resilient water systems that can withstand evolving challenges, ultimately fostering long-term socioeconomic and environmental well-being, forging a path towards a future where water development is not only sustainable but inclusive.
