The Indian automotive industry plays a significant role in the country's economy, contributing to 49% of India's manufacturing GDP and 7.1% of the overall GDP. Over the last two decades, with active contribution from various agencies, the industry has made remarkable progress by becoming a highly favored destination for manufacturing high quality automotive vehicles and components, garnering a significant portion of the global trade.
With a view to highlight India's expertise in the value chain of mobility sector, under the overall guidance of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, it has been decided to organize a mega event ‘Bharat Mobility 2024’ from 1-3 February, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. For the first time, this three day event will focus on the entire mobility value chain under one roof and will feature specialized exhibitions such as ACMA Automechanika, an auto show, a large-scale tyre exhibition, display of the latest electric vehicles (EVs), urban mobility solutions such as drones, batteries, charging stations, multiple energy sources and cutting-edge automotive and information technologies initiatives in EVs, hybrid, hydrogen, CNG/LNG, Ethanol/Biofuels etc. The exhibition will be accompanied by knowledge sessions, workshops, conferences, CEO roundtables, as well as business-to-business (B2B), government-to-government (G2G) and business to consumer (B2C) interactions.
Integrating India and showcasing its strength in the global mobility value chain is one of the major agenda for this event. The major stakeholders are arranging extensive international outreach for mobilizing exhibitors as well as visitors to the show. Netherland has been identified as one of the major economies to achieve this objective.
