India Food 2024 – 7-9 February 2024 – Bangalore

07 - 09Feb2024

We are pleased to share with you some information about the Indian agriculture sector. Today they are the top producer and exporter in a wide range of food and commodities.

During the last two decades the food consumption pattern in India has significantly changed leading to an impressive growth of agro and food processing industry. Today the size of Indian food retail market is valued over $800 billion and agro exports at $60 billion. The Indian food processing industry is the world’s sixth largest, growing at 11%, and contributing to around 14 per cent of manufacturing GDP, 13 per cent of India’s exports and 6 per cent of investment.

The food processing industry in India plays a vital role in the country’s economy and is an important contributor to the growth and development of the agriculture sector. However, the potential of growth, value creation, trade, investment, technology and entrepreneurship development in agro, food and food processing sector is yet to be fully exploited. This requires investments and innovations, business and technical collaborations and global partnerships on one hand and showcasing the strengths of Indian agri food sector to the world on the other hand. Towards these objectives, and supported by APEDA and the Ministry of Commerce, ICFA is organizing action packed 3 day event; India International Food Trade and Technology Fair – India Food 2024, Feb 7-9 at KTPO Trade Centre, Bangalore, India.

Considering the massive size of opportunity that Indian agriculture, horticulture, dairy, poultry, aquaculture, livestock, and agro and food processing sectors offer for business and investment, technologies and innovations, and trade and marketing, and the colossal size of the uniquely designed business event, we are excited to invite participation of the companies from Netherlands to  India Food 2024 with a business delegation and to put up a Pavilion.
