An “India-Netherlands Entrepreneurs Forum” is being organized by the Embassy of India on February 27, 2024, in The Hague. The event is organized with the support of the Diaspora Engagement Division, Ministry of External Affairs, and in partnership with various India-Netherlands business agencies/associations/organizations.
The intended attendees of the Forum are Persons of Indian Origin/Non-Resident Indians (PIO/NRI) in the Netherlands who are engaged in entrepreneurial ventures as well as those who want to explore such opportunities. The Forum will have a special focus on women-led and youth entrepreneurship. Persons who are in consultancy positions, in academia, business, or otherwise, are also welcome. It will also see participation by officials from both India and the Netherlands.
The objective of the Forum is to provide a platform for Indian-origin entrepreneurs to network as well as to share their experiences. The Forum will also feature relevant stakeholders from the Dutch government who will elaborate on the business opportunities available in the Netherlands. It would also be a platform for attendees to provide suggestions and feedback for enhancing business collaboration between India and the Netherlands. There will be a specific session focussing on startups as well.
The Forum will provide an opportunity to publicize the products and services offered by the participating businesses in the form of a directory. The directory will be accessible to the attendees, enabling effective networking. Select PIO-NRI businesses can showcase their products/services in the exhibition area at the venue, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
