Maritime India Summit 2021 – 2-4 March 2021 – Online

We are pleased to inform you that Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), Government of India is organizing Maritime India Summit 2021 (MIS 2021) during 02nd – 04th March 2021 to promote both domestic and international investment in the Indian Ports and Maritime sector. Considering the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the summit will be held virtually. The initial Maritime India Summit (MIS-2016) witnessed participation of over 5,000 delegates from 42 countries resulting in over 140 Business Agreements with investments worth approximately US$12 Bn.

 

MIS 2021 will be attended by various stakeholders in the maritime sectors such as Policy Planners, Senior Government Officials, Domestic and International Investors, Sector Experts, Shipping Line Owners, Representatives of Major Ports from across the world as well as the Governments of Maritime States in India. The Proposed Summit will also host forums for interaction and collaboration with the Indian and International Ports, Shipping and Maritime Companies, Investors, and other stakeholders.

 

There exists a significant potential to increase trade and investment in the Indian maritime sector through collaboration. Your active participation in the Summit and Exhibition to be held on all three days will add significant value to Maritime India Summit 2021 and enhance and strengthen our partnership. MoPSW, along with its administrative Ports, Agencies, Authorities and PSUs are keen to sign MOUs with potential investors on projects related to the maritime and allied sectors in India.
