Indian economy has shown great resilience during the pandemic and continues with record GDP growth making it one of most attractive destinations for foreign direct investment. At 6% growth, as per EY report, India economy will likely be over US$ 26 trillion by 2047-48.
Keeping above in perspective, with the current global economic conditions, and the expected dip in inflation which will affect the nominal growth (thus affecting tax numbers), it is to be seen how the Government of India lays down the roadmap for sustaining India's growth and driving investments in Budget 2023, to be announced on 1 Feb 2023.
