The Government of India has introduced initiatives to promote green manufacturing, including decarbonization, to reduce carbon footprints and establish connections with green technology for Indian MSME enterprises. This will enhance India's credibility in international markets. Additionally, the transition phase of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) will significantly impact India's exports of iron, steel and aluminium to Europe.
