We would like to introduce an apex body established in 1940 in Surat, Gujarat, covering the South Gujarat region from Bharuch to Umergaon. With over 12,000 direct and 3,00,000 indirect members from 150+ business associations, take pride in being one of the oldest organizations in the region. South Gujarat, known as the MSME Capital, houses approximately 49% of the entire Gujarat region's MSME industries. SGCCI is dedicated to fostering business opportunities and actively engages in organizing events, exhibitions, symposiums, seminars, and more for the benefit of its members.
As part of the initiatives, SGCCI is hosting the 'Udyog' Exhibition from February 23rd to 26th. This biennial industrial event serves as a premier platform for Micro, Small, and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) to exhibit their business sectors. Over the past 13 years, 'Udyog' has not only been a significant showcase for diverse industries but also a catalyst for numerous innovations and technological advancements.
This year, program “SGCCI Global Connect M-84” is with a vision to establish a connection with 84 top nations of the World eyeing the objective of establishing an MoU worth Rs. 84,000 crores of International Business between 84,000 Indian Businessmen living abroad and 84,000 Indian Businessmen living in India, by onboarding them on an online platform which will create linkages between Indian and Foreign Businessmen, the Foreign Embassies and Consulates and the Chambers of Commerce of respective 84 nations of the world. This truly is a state-of-the-art project.
