Global Tender Enquiry for Procurement of Deep Ocean Simulator 900 Bar by the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT)

The National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, an Autonomous Research Institute of under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, is engaged in developing and implementing advanced technologies for deep-ocean applications under the Deep Ocean Mission program of Government of India. NIOT is in the process of realising a Deep Ocean Simulator (DOS) – 900 bar, a specialised hyperbaric test facility intended for carrying out high-pressure testing and qualification of subsea systems, components and equipment under simulated deep-ocean pressure conditions upto 900 bar (inner diameter 2.8 m x inner length 3.0 m).

NIOT has published a Global Tender Enquir (GTE) from eligible and technically competent manufacturers/suppliers having proven experience in the design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of such high pressure simulation systems. Bidders are requested to submit their Bid/quotation containing the Technical proposal and Price Bid and last date of submission is 08.10.2026 (1100 hrs).
