The Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public Enterprises, Government of India, in association with the State Government of Karnataka is developing an exclusive Integrated Machine Tool Park (IMTP) at Tumakuru. This would be an integral part of Government of India supported Tumakuru Industrial Node on the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor and it is located about 90 kms from Bengaluru and Bengaluru International Airport.
The park is expected to be ready by March, 2019. 158 industrial plots of various dimension have been formed in this park.
The Government of Karnataka would like to disseminate this information for participation/investors of foreign companies engaged in manufacturing of machine tools to set up their units in this park. Besides this, the common amenities, attractive incentives and concessions are available to the Machine Tools investors as per the State Industrial Policy 2014-19.
