World Food India (WFI) 2024 is a prestigious B2B event, organized by Ministry of Food Processing and Industries, Government of India. The show will be held from 19 – 22 September 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. WFI serves as a global platform that showcases the rich Indian food culture and promotes investments in the diverse food processing sector of our country.
In conjunction with World Food India 2024, MPEDA will be hosting an exclusive Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM), designed specifically to promote seafood trade from India. This event will facilitate face-to-face interactions with top Indian marine exporters. The RBSM serves as a valuable platform for fostering productive business relationships, exploring new opportunities, and expanding your business prospects.
We are committed to provide all the necessary support to participating importers which include return economy class air ticket fare for the shortest route (with a ceiling of USD 2,000) and Local hospitality (Food & accommodation, and local transportation during the event days) for one representative from one company. MPEDA will also extend support for the participating importers to visit processing plants in India on request. Our aim is to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for all participants.

In this regard, we wish to inform that MPEDA will be providing the following support to you to facilitate your participation in WFI 2024 in New Delhi:
1. Visa Invitation Letter: We can issue a visa invitation letter to enable you to apply for visa to visit India. Also please note that citizens of certain countries can apply for an e-Visa to visit India. Link to apply for e-visa is https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html). We also attached a sample e-visa application for your ready reference.
2. Air Ticket: We will reimburse the return economy air ticket fare for your visit to India to attend RBSM in WFI 2024 with a ceiling of 2,000 US$. Reimbursement is limited to one representative from your company. The reimbursement will be provided in cash on the spot at the venue directly to you on the last day of the event upon production of copy of visa, air ticket, invoice and boarding pass.
3. Airport Pick-up and Drop: We will operate a reception counter at New Delhi International Airport to arrange airport pickup / drop for the invited importers. Please share your itinerary to arrange airport pick up and drop for you.
4. Local Hospitality: We will be providing the local hospitality to all the invited importers (Food, accommodation and local transportation during the event days). Hotel details will be shared soon.
5. Support for seafood processing plant visit: MPEDA will facilitate local travel arrangements for seafood processing plant visits through our Regional Offices. However, the concern importer needs to bear the expenses related to his travel from New Delhi and back (air / train / car) and hotel accommodation. Please intimate the details of the seafood processing plant you proposed to visit.

2. Provide a scanned copy of your passport for arranging Visa invitation letter (if required) and also to book the rooms.
3. Please book your air tickets and share a copy of your air tickets with invoice and copy of visa for reimbursement purpose.

5. List of seafood processing plant you propose to visit.
