Revision of cumulative targets under National Solar Mission from 20,000 MW by 2021-22 to 1,00,000 MW

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet approved increasing India’s solar power capacity target under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) by five times to 100,000 MW by 2022, which will place India to be among the largest renewable energy producers in the world.
