Samskip Logistics joins NICCT
We are pleased to introduce Samskip Logistics, part of the Samskip Group.
Samskip Logistics is a global freight forwarding company, with offices across the USA, Europe and Asia. Samskip provides end-to-end logistics solutions in ocean freight, air freight, customs, multimodal transport and related logistics services.
A particular strength of our organization is temperature-controlled and reefer logistics.
Samskip has extensive experience supporting customers in sectors such as seafood, meat, fruit & vegetables, pharmaceuticals and other temperature-sensitive commodities, combining specialist knowledge with our international network.
Samskip also sees significant opportunities in the Indian market and has the ambition to further develop its presence in India. For Martijn Tasma, this is especially exciting.
He worked in India from 2015 to 2017, and more recently managed a large freight forwarding company with substantial activities in India for four years. He has therefore experienced first-hand the strength, entrepreneurship and enormous potential of the Indian market.
As he served on the NICCT Board in recent years, he is very happy to be back in the club, now representing Samskip Logistics.
Martijn Tasma and his colleagues are looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, developing new relationships and, most importantly, creating new business opportunities between India and the Samskip Logistics network worldwide. They have high expectations for the growth potential ahead and look forward to working together with the NICCT community.
